Call on a Friday around 2:30pm spoke with Kevin, explained what happened. He asked if they could come out Monday. I then explained that I was have a realtor come Saturday to take photos to put the house in the market. He was like let me call my guy and have him finish up the job he is on and he will be at my place within the hour. Alex arrived around 3:30pm. Alex was polite, professional and very informative in what the problem was and was fixed in a timely manner. With the customer service I received from both Kevin and Alex, I would highly recommend them to my family and friends. We hired Portage Electric to do quite a bit of work at our house, and we are super pleased with the results! Portage Electrical replaced all the original knob-and-tube wiring in my home in Cuyahoga Falls. I just want to say that I am beyond grateful and thankful for Portage Electric! My electric was outdated and the lights were flickering in my house, I was so worried it would cause a house fire. I’ve had experiences with a few different electricians/companies in the Akron/Green area in the past … They were ok but dealing with Kevin From Portage Electrical was different.  I called him on a Monday to discuss a level 2 charging setup for a new vehicle and he was out on Tuesday to give a quote.

I liked that he seemed most interested in pursuing a solution that would make my wife and I happy instead of what was easiest for them. His quote was more than fair.

When it was time for the job to be completed  Dave and Billy arrived right on time and were very professional. They took time to explain everything and took extra time and care to be minimally invasive In our finished drywall spaces. They cleaned thoroughly and we could not be happier.
